Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as the senior-most financial leader in the organization, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, strategy, and reporting. The CFO partners directly with the CEO and board to drive business performance, manage capital structure, and ensure financial integrity across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, audit, and compliance functions
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors
- Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and external auditors
- Drive cost optimization, margin improvement, and capital allocation decisions
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
Typical Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- CPA, CFA, or MBA strongly preferred
- Proven track record leading financial operations in a growing organization
- Strong executive presence and board-level communication skills
- Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, and data-driven decision making
