Controller
The Controller is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls. This role is critical to the close process, audit readiness, and the integrity of the general ledger.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
- Manage the accounting team including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable regulatory requirements
- Lead internal and external audit processes
- Develop and enforce accounting policies and internal controls
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for leadership review
Typical Qualifications
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ in a leadership role
- CPA required or strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
