Procurement Manager
The Procurement Manager leads sourcing and purchasing, responsible for supplier selection, contract negotiation, and cost management across the organization's spend categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, bidding, and purchase order management
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and service levels
- Develop and maintain a preferred vendor network and supplier scorecards
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and engineering teams to align procurement with business needs
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, risk, and compliance
- Identify savings opportunities and drive year-over-year cost reduction initiatives
Typical Qualifications
- 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience with at least 2 years in a management role
- CPM or CPSM certification preferred
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills
- Experience with ERP-based procurement systems
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex spend categories across multiple suppliers
