Director of Supply Chain
The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement, sourcing, inventory planning, and logistics functions
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that reduce cost and improve service levels
- Build and manage relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners
- Implement demand planning and inventory optimization processes
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through diversification and contingency planning
- Drive process improvements and technology adoption across the supply chain
Typical Qualifications
- 8+ years of supply chain experience with 3+ years in a director or senior manager role
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of procurement, demand planning, and logistics operations
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
