Chief Operating Officer (COO)
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the organization and translating strategic vision into execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all operational functions including production, supply chain, logistics, and service delivery
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals
- Build and lead high-performing operational teams across multiple functions
- Drive process improvement, cost reduction, and quality initiatives
- Establish KPIs and operational dashboards to track performance
- Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategic planning and organizational design
Typical Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of scaling operations in a growing organization
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to align cross-functional teams
- Deep experience in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
