Plant Manager
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing or production facility operations, including safety, quality, production output, and workforce management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all plant operations including production scheduling, staffing, and safety compliance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Oversee quality control programs and ensure product meets specifications
- Manage plant budget, capital expenditures, and cost control initiatives
- Lead and develop the plant leadership team and hourly workforce
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards
Typical Qualifications
- 7+ years of manufacturing or plant operations experience, including 3+ in a management role
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality management systems
- Proven ability to lead and develop large, diverse teams
