Director of Operations
The Director of Operations oversees day-to-day execution of operational functions, responsible for driving efficiency, quality, and performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational activities across production, logistics, supply chain, or service delivery
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance standards
- Lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability through KPIs and operational reviews
- Identify and execute process improvements that reduce cost and improve throughput
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and organizational development
Typical Qualifications
- 8+ years of operations experience with 3+ years in a director or senior leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA a plus
- Proven track record of leading operational teams and delivering measurable results
- Strong analytical, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred
