HR Generalist

The HR Generalist supports the day-to-day operations of the HR function, serving as a reliable resource for employees and managers across a broad range of HR topics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions on HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Assist with performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Support compensation and benefits administration including open enrollment
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned

Typical Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of HR generalist experience
  • Working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities
