HR Generalist
The HR Generalist supports the day-to-day operations of the HR function, serving as a reliable resource for employees and managers across a broad range of HR topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions on HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Assist with performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Support compensation and benefits administration including open enrollment
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Typical Qualifications
- 2–5 years of HR generalist experience
- Working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities
