HR Director

The Human Resources Director leads the day-to-day HR function and serves as a strategic business partner to leaders across the organization. This role oversees core HR programs including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full HR function including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR matters
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Lead performance management and employee development initiatives

Typical Qualifications

  • 7+ years of HR experience with at least 2–3 years in a director-level role
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
  • Experience managing a team and partnering with senior business leaders
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
